La profesora Yanki C. Lee forma parte del movimiento de diseño inclusivo en el Reino Unido desde 2000 y participa activamente en la Participatory Design Conference network desde 2002. Es licenciada en Arquitectura en el Royal College of Art (RCA, Londres) y doctora en metodología del diseño por la Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Investigadora e innovadora social Yanki fundó dos colectivos: Exhibit at Golden Lane Estate CIC en Londres en 2005, y la Enable Foundation, una organización benéfica registrada, en Hong Kong en 2016. Desde 2017, ha dirigido proyectos de diseño social financiados por el Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund and Entrepreneurship Development, del Gobierno de la HKSAR y el Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, para abordar cuestiones sociales como la innovación en el envejecimiento y las ecologías críticas a través de la investigación y accción en diseño. También es profesora invitada en la Escuela de Diseño de Kolding (Dinamarca) y en el Instituto de Diseño de Hong Kong, Kolding, Dinamarca, y en el Programa Design+Change de la Universidad Linnaeus, Suecia.

Prof. Yanki C Lee is part of the inclusive design movement in the UK since 2000 and active in the Participatory Design Conference network since 2002. A graduate from MA in Architecture at the Royal College of Art (RCA, London) and PhD in design methodology from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Yanki practices as a design researcher and social innovator, Yanki founded two collectives: Exhibit at Golden Lane Estate CIC in London in 2005, and Enable Foundation, a registered charity, in Hong Kong in 2016. Since
2017, she has conducted social design projects funded by the HKSAR government’s Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund and the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust to tackle social issues such as ageing innovation and critical ecologies through design research and actions while she is also a visiting professor at the Design School Kolding, Denmark, and the Design+Change Programme at Linnaeus University, Sweden.
