Workshop 1: Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible en los Planes de Estudios de Diseño

Este taller requiere un nivel medio de inglés y traer a la sesión sus descripciones de unidades/lecciones para que podamos trabajar sobre ellas e incorporar los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible a su enseñanza y aprendizaje. (Duración de 2 horas con un break)

Workshop 1 Description: Sustainable Development Goals and Design Curricula (for teachers)

Participants in this workshop ideally will speak relatively good English and will bring to the two hour session their unit/lesson descriptions so we can work on them and incorporate Sustainable Development Goals in their teaching and learning. (2 hours with a break)

El Dr. Nicos Souleles es profesor de Arte y Diseño en la enseñanza superior desde 1995. Junto con un grupo de amigos y colegas, dirige el "Art Design: elearning lab" (miembro de la red DESIS), que trabaja en proyectos de investigación financiados en las áreas de alfabetización múltiple, desarrollo curricular para el Tercer Sector y emprendimiento cultural y artístico para mujeres marginadas.

Dr. Nicos Souleles has been a professor of Art and Design in higher education since 1995. Together with a group of friends and colleagues, he directs the "Art Design: elearning lab" (member of the DESIS network), which works on research projects funded in the areas of multiple literacy, curriculum development for the Third Sector and cultural and artistic entrepreneurship for marginalized women.

Worshop 1: Métodos y herramientas de co-creación para el diseño social  

Este taller requiere un nivel medio de inglés y que todos los asistentes traigan una o dos herramientas o técnicas que les guste utilizar cuando practican o enseñan diseño social;  herramientas para romper el hielo (icebreaking), prototipados, etc. 

Workshop 2 Description: Sharing Co-Creation Methods and Tools for Social Design 

Conducted by Lorraine Gamman, Yanki Lee, Francesco Mazzarella, Susan Melsop, Nicos Souleles, and ESDA DESIS Lab Core Team (Cecilia Casas, José Chávez & Alberto Franco) (1,5 hours with a break)

Participants in this workshop ideally will speak relatively good English and everyone attending should bring one or two tools or technique they like using – icebreaking to actual prototyping – when practicing or teaching social design.
